CHANGE OF DATE! The City moved the appeal of the approval of Grover Beach's first 5-story building from Oct. 27th to Nov. 10th (6pm) because I asked them to rehear the original meeting where 2 citizens could not make their comments when city phone lines failed. The City Council refused. Would the comments have changed the outcome? We will never know. The DA is reviewing whether it constitutes a Brown Act (sunshine law) violation. Join the appeal at Grover Beach City Hall, 154 S. 8th St., 6pm Mon. Nov. 10th.

Curious about this? Meeting with Jorge Garcia, Pismo City Manager, about Central Coast Blue Mon., Oct. 13th, 5 p.m., 1101 W. Grand. Why does Pismo insist on putting a wastewater plant in Grover to process Pismo waste & inject it into our water table? It will hurt property values, tear up streets & risk environmental harm to fragile S. Grover & Oceano geology.

Kudos to Eric Vitale - Senior Investigator with SLO County DA Office. He has methodically and diligently followed up on real estate scams, catching crooks, and making our county the only one in the state that is proactive. Currently, in SLO Country, there are 101 properties being targeted, some multiple times. At our realtor association meeting, he shared that crooks impersonate sellers to get properties listed with a real estate agent, using false IDs and forged signatures. Then they sell the property and take the proceeds. They target properties where the owner is less likely to be aware of activity. Be sure to choose your REALTOR carefully and keep an eye on your property!

You can bring your vote to the meeting on the form below or take it to the City today.
