Ava made the UConn Dean’s List again with a 4.0 GPA and Liv passed her SLP licensing test plus her Level 1 ski instructor test in VT this weekend. 🎉🎉👏👏

Checked one off Don's bucket list — the Key West boat races! Hit a fallen tree on the highway getting there in the windstorm, but still managed to get to the airport on time. Then made it home at 4 am after a 3.5-hour delay with 2 hours sitting on the runway with a priest sitting next to us saying his rosary, so we knew we would eventually get home lol…and Don's car still started when we got back. After the year we've had, we see these moments so differently now. Totally worth it. 😅 ❤️

We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support. If we haven’t responded or acknowledged you yet, please know it’s not because we don’t see you—we do. ...to the older gentleman at the gas station tonight who kept shouting over and over sarcastically, “You’re a lucky lady!” while I pumped gas as my husband sat in the car—yes, actually, I AM a lucky lady. Because just over a week ago, I almost lost him. Sometimes, we all need to pause and remember: you never really know what someone else is walking through. Be kind. Always.🫶🏼
