🛍 ...if Outlet Shopping is what your town is best known for to tourists (Clinton Premium Outlets)
..if you know Saldamarco's Deli and Meat Market’s is the best deli in town
..and you head to Rocky's Aqua for seafood with a view
..and you get your seafood and Hibachi at Hanami Japanese Restaurant
..if you’ve ever spent a classy night out wine tasting at Chamard Vineyards

🚙 ...if taking a left onto Rte 1 is the most stressful part of your day
..if you’ve ever bought your Birkenstocks at the Clinton Bootery
..if you know the building that has housed 10 different restaurants in the past 20 years
..if you always leave The Log Cabin with leftovers for days

🦞 And finally, you know you’re from Clinton if you line up every summer to get the best lobster rolls at Lobster Landing

If Yale University campus is always on you're walking route.

If you go to Consiglio's of New Haven for a little Italian comfort food…

and Goodfellas Restaurant for a meal that’s fit for De Niro himself.

If you've ever been to Food Truck Paradise, and you can't decide which truck to order from.

If you know your city is just as famous for its green as it is its architecture.

🚈 If you've ever taken the train from Union Station (New Haven) to Grand Central Terminal for a night out in the big city.

If you go to see the gardens at the historic Edgerton Park Conservancy

If you know that all legends have played here (Toad's Place - Toads Place)

If you head to Union League Cafe for all your special events

If you know the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library holds the rarest books in the world.

If you've gone to the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History as a kid for the dinosaurs, and then as an adult for the beer

If you can get fresh cookies delivered to your door all night, well at least until 3 am (Insomnia Cookies)

📈 The latest data is in and you DON’T want to miss this April market flash!

I’m Jessica Hoover, Realtor with One + Company Real Estate here in Connecticut.

If you are wondering whether home prices will continue to increase in 2021, I have some great insights for you that I’ll be sharing at the end.

Let’s start by looking at April numbers:

For single-family homes in Madison, there were
43 new listings
33 closed sales
An average of 63 days on market
Median sales price of $627,063

As for condos in Madison we saw
5 new listings
5 closed sales
An average of 6 days on market
Median sales price of $330,000

🤔 So what’s in store for the rest of the year?

Mortgage Bankers Association, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac are among the experts that recently changed their projection for 2021 Home Price Forecasts.

They have all INCREASED their current projections since January, with an average projected home appreciation of 7.7%.
