🚗 GETTING TO OUR FESTIVAL FAQ 🚗
We are officially 10 DAYS away from Shrimp Fest. Final touches are being hit and we want to ensure everyone is informed on where to go to have a great time!
📍 Where are y'all located?
The Festival is located in an open space in Gulf Shores, Alabama called Gulf Place. Gulf Place starts where Alabama Highway 59 intersects with Beach Blvd, head towards the Gulf of Mexico and you'll see us!
🚙 Where can I park?
Parking is very limited and available on a first come, first served basis at and around the festival site. The festival site is surrounded by privately owned businesses and private residential houses/condos.
These owners control the parking and parking fees on their property, not the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber, Annual National Shrimp Festival, or the City of Gulf Shores. We recommend using the available shuttle system.
♿️ Is any ADA parking available?
Yes! Those with appropriate permits will be allowed into an ADA accessible lot located on West 1st Ave in Gulf Shores near the grounds.
There are also two ADA accessible shuttle stops at Pelican Place in Gulf Shores & Rouses in Orange Beach (more details below).
🚌 What's another option for me to get to the Festival?
Fortunately, the Gulf Shores City Schools bus fleet will be transporting attendees to and from the site.
At a fee of $5 per day, you can obtain a wristband to take unlimited rides on the shuttles. The money raised goes towards the schools.
NOTE: PER STATE LAW, CHILDREN UNDER 5 ARE NOT ALLOWED ON OUR SHUTTLE BUSES.
💵 How can I get a wristband?
You can purchase one at bit.ly/sfshuttle22 or at a shuttle stop on the day of. Please note, only cards, NOT CASH, will be accepted for on-site shuttle wristband purchases.
🗺 Where will the shuttles be picking up & dropping off?
Gulf Shores:
• Pelican Place: 3800 Gulf Shores Pkwy. - ADA ACCESSIBLE
• Erie Meyer Civic Center: 1930 West 2nd St.
• Waves Grocery: 1154 West Beach Blvd.
• Lake Shelby in Gulf State Park: 20115 AL-135
Orange Beach
• The Wharf: 23101 Canal Rd.
• Rouses Market: 25405 Perdido Beach Blvd. - ADA ACCESSIBLE
⏰ What times will the shuttles be running?
Shuttle Schedule
• Thursday: 1:30 p.m. - 10:15 p.m.*
• Friday: 9:45 a.m. - 10:15 p.m.
• Saturday: 9:45 a.m. - 10:15 p.m.
• Sunday: 9:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
*NOTE: Our shuttle system is operated by Gulf Shores City Schools & their bus fleet. Thursday is an early dismal day for students featuring normal operation of buses, hence the later shuttle start time. Students will have the next day off as a school holiday.
