Looking for a break from the beach but still want to enjoy the water? Check out Little Lagoon Pass Park, located just about 2 miles west of . The water is typically calmer than the gulf, and the shallow areas make it the perfect spot to set up a chair in the water and relax for the day. There’s convenient paid parking and restrooms onsite, and if you’re in the mood for the beach, the gulf is just right across the street.

Looking for a family-friendly trail to explore on foot or by bike? The in Orange Beach is a great choice. The trail features a mix of paved and elevated boardwalk sections to navigate the marshy areas, with parking available at the trailhead.

Our recommendation is to start at the Rosemary Dunes entrance. is located right before the parking areas, so be sure to grab a coffee / snack before or after your adventure!

Looking for a Gulf Shores must-do? Add to your list! To explore more in less time, try the bike share program at the Beach Pavilion and trailheads like Eagles Loop or Gulf Oak Ridge. There are 50 bikes available first-come, first-served, with 3 free hours and $5 per hour after. Download the Bloom Bike Share App, scan the code, and return when you're done.
