STETSON LAW Celebrates 70 Years in Gulfport
70 years ago, Florida's oldest law school found a new home. On Sept 20, 1954, Stetson University of Law began offering classes at the former Rolyat Hotel. Stetson's decision to move the College of Law was a transformative moment in Tampa Bay Region. Within a decade, the educational landscape had expanded. Students no longer needed to travel so far to take college-level courses.
