What a fantastic way to wrap up the year!

Our company Christmas party was filled with great food, nonstop laughter, and even better company. Huge thanks to the Golden Nugget Biloxi for hosting and catering an amazing evening—everything was top notch! One of the highlights of the night was the incredible caricatures by Caricatures by Kathy, which gave us plenty of unforgettable keepsakes.

We were also proud to recognize Brent French as our Game Ball Winner. Brent consistently went above and beyond in both daily responsibilities and larger strategic initiatives. His dedication, reliability, and willingness to step up whenever needed truly set him apart. A team player through and through, he embodies what it means to support both our projects and our people.

We’re incredibly grateful for this team and the time we get to spend together celebrating another great year. Cheers to the holidays and to an even better year ahead!

The Point Cadet Living Shoreline Project is complete!

This project helps protect Biloxi’s coast from erosion while creating healthier habitats for fish, oysters, and other marine life.

We are proud to announce the promotion of Michelle Phillips to Associate Principal, Director of Business Management at BMA.

Michelle has been an integral part of BMA for nearly 30 years. A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, she joined BMA as an Administrative Assistant. Her dedication, expertise and ability to manage chaos with grace led her to serve as Executive Assistant to Bill Mitchell and Dax Alexander, before transitioning to the role of Business Manager, where she oversees the firm's financial and business operations.

Beyond her professional contributions, Michelle is actively involved in the community through the Southernettes, supporting numerous local non-profits. When she’s not working you can find her by the water either boating or relaxing on the beach!

We are excited to break ground on the announcement of Kevin Mullen’s promotion to Associate Principal, Director of Construction Phase Services at BMA.

Built for success, Kevin joined BMA in 2006 after graduating from Mississippi State University. Early in his career, he played a pivotal role in the Hancock County Utility Authority’s post-Hurricane Katrina program management. Since then, Kevin has contributed to numerous public infrastructure projects, with a focus on public recreation facilities and coastal infrastructure.

In recent years, Kevin has taken the lead in managing our construction phase services, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. He is a 2019 Leadership Gulf Coast graduate. A lifelong resident of coastal Mississippi, he is deeply invested in our community, actively coaching youth sports and utilizing the very facilities he helps design.

Today, our team came together to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a little engineer-in-the-making! It’s not every day we get to pause from our projects to support the personal milestones of our team members, and this baby shower was a joyful reminder of the strong family spirit we share at BMA
