Highland Park Village is eyeing a modest expansion, with plans calling for roughly 10,500 square feet of new space across two buildings. The updated budget sits at $11 million — significantly lower than the earlier $25 million estimate — with Building C set to gain about 3,500 square feet and Building D around 7,000.
Because the center is both historic and architecturally distinctive, any additions will need to stay true to its Mediterranean style, ruling out major design changes.
Early signs point to new storefront space in Building C, while Building D — currently used for management — is surrounded by high-end retailers like Dior, Beretta, and Oscar de la Renta.
If the project moves forward, it would represent a subtle evolution for the center as it continues blending historic character with luxury retail demand.
