NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun reacts to the latest jobs report, which shows the labor market strengthening, with 172,000 net new jobs in May. Upward revisions to previous months brought cumulative job gains to 565,000 over a three-month period — among the strongest in recent years.

So happy for my sweet friends! 🏡 I helped them find a great lease in Frisco in less than a week. They had a few specific needs, and we were still able to get them into the right home quickly. Love making things come together like this for my clients.

Highland Park Village is eyeing a modest expansion, with plans calling for roughly 10,500 square feet of new space across two buildings. The updated budget sits at $11 million — significantly lower than the earlier $25 million estimate — with Building C set to gain about 3,500 square feet and Building D around 7,000.

Because the center is both historic and architecturally distinctive, any additions will need to stay true to its Mediterranean style, ruling out major design changes.

Early signs point to new storefront space in Building C, while Building D — currently used for management — is surrounded by high-end retailers like Dior, Beretta, and Oscar de la Renta.

If the project moves forward, it would represent a subtle evolution for the center as it continues blending historic character with luxury retail demand.
