Yesterday hurt in the best way. 🤘🏼

Last year was my first time racing the Pup 20 at Hartman Rocks and I finished 14th female overall (11th in my age group). That led me to set a goal this year to crack the top 10 women.

Yesterday, I finished 2nd in the women’s 18–49 category and 5th overall female 🥹🏆🥈

I got to spend the morning riding with my dad .ul5008 - who somehow pushes me way beyond my comfort zone while barely breaking a sweat himself. When I looked up and saw , our kids, , and cheering us (and the fastest Puerto Rican out there doing the Big Bad 40 .rican13 on a single speed to boot!) on and honestly had to fight back tears. Those moments stick with you.

I had one solid crash, left pretty much everything I had out there, and somehow came home with hardware I’m dang proud of. Even better? Getting to represent our little Gunnison Valley community against an incredible field of riders.

Mountain biking, motherhood, business, real estate… none of it comes easy. Most growth seems to happen somewhere between uncomfortable and exhausted.

Grateful for this place, these people, and the reminder that hard things are usually worth doing. And thank you to the crew, volunteers and sponsors for all their time, hard work and resources that can make such a fun event happen!
