1. What made you want to become a real estate agent? I’ve always loved helping people, and real estate gave me the opportunity to do that while building relationships and being involved in my community.

2. What’s your favorite part of helping clients? Seeing everything come together at the closing table! Whether someone is buying their first home or selling a home full of memories, I love being there to help them through the process.

3. What’s one thing every homebuyer should know? Don’t be afraid to ask questions! Buying a home is a big decision, and a good Realtor is there to make sure you understand what’s happening every step of the way.

4. What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? Spending time with my family! With a busy household, there’s usually always something going on, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

5. What’s something most people don’t know about you? I’m a published author! Writing a book was something very personal to me, and seeing it actually become a finished book was an experience I’ll never forget.

4. What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? Hunting or on the tractor on the farm.

5. What’s something most people don’t know about you? I had corrective eye surgery.

Meet Your Agent! We have an incredible team here at South Towne, and we want to introduce you to them. Each week we spotlight one of our agents. Today, we have Agent Jenny Hattabaugh! Let’s get to know a little about her:

1. What made you want to become a real estate agent? I've always had the desire to help others. Real estate gives me a new way to do that.

2. What’s your favorite part of helping clients? I enjoy meeting new people and having them trust me to help see them through on their real estate journey is a good feeling.

3. What’s one thing every homebuyer should know? When looking for a house, the things you can't see matter just as much as what you can see. This is, your financial profile, home inspection, and the integrity of your realtor.

4. What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? A good day off for me is being active outside with friends. I also enjoy volunteering in the community.

5. What’s something most people don’t know about you? I moved here a little over 3 years ago so I can relate to the trials of relocating. My first jobs were animal related with horses and animal hospitals. Then I worked almost 30 years in law enforcement before other jobs in the service field. I am also a licensed life insurance broker which comes in handy for mortgage protection for all of our clients.

1. What made you want to become a real estate agent? The opportunity to help people with their most important purchase.

2. What’s your favorite part of helping clients? I love helping clients with their future. I also love the interactions and relationship building that goes with each transaction.

3. What’s one thing every homebuyer should know? Use a local lender! That way if there are problems or questions you can simply give them a call or stop by their office.

4. What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? Usually spent doing yard work, home projects and washing cars, but I don’t mind getting in some solid porch time either.

5. What’s something most people don’t know about you? I’m a huge NASCAR fan, I love attending and watching races on tv. I have a “Bucket List “ of tracks I’d like to visit.
