Thanks for the interview by the Lake County News-Sun about current property values, interest rates, etc., with the focus on the general Waukegan market. Thankful for the story and for having a successful career selling homes in all of Lake County for a few years now (35)! ;-) (One of the photos in the story is a listing of mine, under contract).

With the average sale price of a single-family home in Waukegan currently between $247,000 and $253,000, according to Realtor.com, it was $166,916 five years ago.

Was at the doctor's office yesterday (routine appointment) and a past client came in - Hi! Hugs! Today I receive a call from another past client (long ago, 30 years) - he asked if I had been at the doctor's office yesterday - yes I was! He saw me but so long wasn't sure. Funny - after all these years in this business, now meeting clients at the doctor's office - lol lol

A phone call this morning was fun - a client I sold a house to him some years ago .... We said "how long ago was that?" ... I looked it up and it will be 30 years next year - Crazy! Happy he remembered me. (Wants advice on what he should do to prep his house to sell and said he would pay me for that advice - also nice :-)).

CLEAR TO CLOSE this morning on this sharp listing at 1605 N. Jackson in Waukegan. This is the FOURTH (4th) time I have sold this home! First time to buyers in 1998, then as listing agent in 2000, listing agent again in 2005, and now again my listing in 2026! A lovely home it is! Congrats to all ... Closing end of week :-)
