There are people inside a car in our parking lot even though it’s clearly marked (no overnight parking) I hope this is not becoming a trend for unhoused people? Or maybe we should offer it for overnight resting/sleeping? It’s sad that it’s starting to happen.

FYI. The Southgate bridge is currently closed due to flooding. The Escanaba River has already flooded the park. If it gets worse the M-35 bridge may need to be closed as well. We will try to keep you updated as we hear things. For more info see Forsyth Township's FB page.
