Hello Sawyer Residents,

My name is Rachel Locke and I represent the St. Francis Connection Center (SFCC) at 328 Fortress St. here K.I. Sawyer. We are a resource center and emergency Food Closet. We are collaborating with many agencies in the area to perform a Community Survey so we can comprehend the needs of our community and be able to better plan on how to meet those needs.

Sawyer Village is accepting applications for 28 duplexes that are currently under renovation. Expected completion dates range from July to September. These duplexes are 3-bedroom with 1 1/2-bathroom units and rent is $1,100 per month. Security is $1,650. Trash pick-up is included. Up to 2 approved pets permitted per unit with a $150 pet fee. Application fee of $35 per person aged 18 or older. The duplex renovations consist of new roofs, siding, windows, furnaces, water heaters, flooring, cabinets, countertops, appliances, and bathrooms. The crew from SEEL, LLC (Solutions for Energy Efficient Logistics), will be returning the week of May 26-May 29th , to do some Energy Assessments in our homes, if anyone is interested. They will be installing some items that are free of charge. These items include the following:

Low-Flow Bathroom Aerators
Low-Flow Kitchen Aerators
Low-Flow Showerheads
Pipe Wrap Insulation
LED Tube lights
LED Nightlights
Energy Efficient Surge Protectors
LED A Line Bulb replacements
LED Three Way Bulbs
LED Candelabras
LED Task Light Reading Lamps

I will not be providing residents names, addresses, or phone numbers but will be providing them with the list of streets that are owned by Sawyer Village.

If you do not want to be bothered, just don't answer your door or if you do answer the door, let them know you are not interested.
