"A consumer will have the option to market their home as a “delayed marketing exempt listing.” This means a seller can instruct their listing agent to delay the marketing of their listing by other agents outside the listing firm through IDX or syndication for a period of time."

This policy provides sellers and their agents more options and choice when marketing a property, while also supporting fair housing by providing buyers and their agents with equal access to important MLS property information.

“Eligible properties would be office parks with at least 50,000 square feet of space or retail centers with at least 15,000 square feet. Properties also would have to have a vacancy rate of at least 40 percent. The redevelopment would need at least two uses and not expand beyond the square footage of the old uses.”

State legislation that would override municipal zoning law to encourage redevelopment of "stranded" office parks and shopping malls was unanimously advanced Monday by the state Senate Community and Urban Affairs

2024 was a difficult year for the real estate industry, producing a 30-year low in nationwide transactions. The buyer pool greatly reduced due to rising values and rates. Homeowners felt “stuck” facing the prospect of their interest rate increasing from 2.5% to 6.5%.

Still, I found a way to have the best year of my career. It makes me think of a quote from Thomas Jefferson, “I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.”
