Why I GIVE to Idaho Gives/Sun Valley REALTORS Gives?

I contribute to the Veterans Housing program through the Sun Valley Realtors Gives. Housing is a huge part of my life and has been for about 35 years. As a practicing REALTOR I believe in my soul that EVERYONE deserves competent and caring help with home purchases and sales. I believe this to the core of my being. I also know that some just need a place to turn to for that type of assistance. The Realtor Housing program is that place. In my family, my son and his wife were in the Navy, my brother and father were Marines, my Uncle was in the Army, my husband’s uncle was in the Navy and served in the Vietnam, World War II, and Korean Wars. I look at these people that I love and can’t imagine how they could commit their lives so completely for others. If I am honest, I don’t think I would have the Hutzpah to do that, and they did it for me and our entire country. So many sacrificed it all. My contribution is such a small pittance compared to what so many soldiers gave. This organization helps with down payment assistance, rental assistance, and other housing needs for Veterans. I can’t think of a better way to do my small part for them. JOIN ME by giving the best you can. Every penny goes to a very worthy cause.

Oh, to be a cat at the Fort Hall Ranchita. Sam loves his life. Now 1 year old, he brings his mom a mouse a day and leabes it in the pavillion, naps on the back deck and baths on the table under the umbrella. Quite the life for an orphan found in a woodpile north of Ketchum.
