🍂🏡 SEPTEMBER CENTRAL PA REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE

As we head into September, the Central PA housing market is showing signs of becoming a little more balanced — but buyer demand and home values remain strong in many areas.

🏡 Buyers are seeing more options
Inventory has been increasing in parts of our region compared to last year, giving buyers more homes to choose from and a little more breathing room in their search.

⏰ Homes are taking a little longer to sell
We’re seeing homes spend more time on the market compared to last year. That means buyers may have more time to make decisions, while sellers need to be increasingly mindful of pricing, condition and presentation.

📈 Pricing remains strong in many areas
Central PA continues to show strong housing demand, although conditions can vary significantly from one neighborhood and price point to another.

💰 Mortgage Rate Check
The national average 30-year fixed mortgage rate is currently around 6.66%.

• Inventory is continuing to improve, giving buyers more choices than we’ve seen in recent years.

Summer is in full swing, and the Central PA housing market is continuing to find a healthy balance.
