Heads up to everyone doing the 105 mile route at The 2025 Legacy 100 - Benefitting Alzheimer's Association on April 5th, 2025. I reached out to the Hallettsville Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture asking if they knew anyone that would be willing to help support our long distance riders. They responded very quickly and said they'd love to help, and they connected me to Collette Jahn with Steel Door Realty who has graciously stepped up to handle our southernmost water stop (roughly mile 75). She will be providing all the water, ice, and snacks y'all might need! Collette will be coordinating with the Lavaca County Courthouse to ensure their plentiful clean bathrooms are available for use! Assisting her will be the awesome young men and women of the Hallettsville Royal Court!

Any of y'all that have ever tried to enlist volunteers or secure sponsors for any sort of charitable event no full well how difficult that task is (I would argue it is THE most difficult challenge we organizers face), so I'm beyond thrilled for the support that has been offered by Collette, the Royal Court, and the Chamber!

If any of y'all are looking for a home or property in the Lavaca/Colorado/Fayette county area, or in Houston where her company is based, reach out to her and she'll be happy to help with that!

Each year at the Lions Club Arts and Crafts Fair we do free pictures with Santa and/or the Grinch. 🎅🏼 We always have such a great time and we can’t wait until next year!

After hitting a deer and destroying the front and driver’s side of my expedition, Taylor at Country Customs handled EVERYTHING to get my car fixed and looking new again. He picked up my car, he worked with my insurance, he kept us updated during the whole process and he even cleaned the inside before I picked it up! My car looks amazing and the paint matching is perfect! I’m so very pleased with his work and his communication. I’m so glad to have my car back!
