Love this idea

I saw a restaurant sign today that honestly made me want to turn around and leave.

It said:

“IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO TIP, YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO DINE OUT.”

Then underneath it was this giant breakdown about servers making $2.13 an hour and customers being selfish if they leave small tips.

And listen… before people come for me, I’m not saying servers don’t deserve tips.

But why does it suddenly feel like customers are being emotionally pressured before they even sit down?

That’s what bothers me about these signs.

Restaurants used to make tipping feel like appreciation for good service. Now some places are making it sound mandatory, expected, and morally required no matter what kind of experience you have.

And the tone is getting weirdly hostile too.

Like instead of:
“Tips appreciated ❤️”

it’s now:
“If you don’t tip enough, you’re basically a bad person.”

I just feel like there’s a huge difference between encouraging generosity and straight-up guilt tripping people.

Because the second customers feel attacked, judged, or pressured, it changes the entire dining experience.

Has anybody else noticed restaurants getting way more confrontational about tipping lately or is it just me?

Yesterday we completed this project for a family member and had a lot of fun playing with pavers & boarder blocks. Most importantly the young talent on the crew took charge of the mulch and young Duncan displayed leadership and knowledge of the landscaping game. Good job young men and Damion keep grinding 💪🏾... proud dad! Call (610)504-8948 for any landscaping needs you may have.
