Some exciting professional news, but also something very personal to me. ❤️

I’m proud to share that I’ve earned the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation through the National Association of REALTORS®.

This certification is designed to help REALTORS® better guide older adults and their families through important housing decisions — but for me, this isn’t just professional training. It’s something I’ve lived through personally.

Like many families, I’ve helped navigate the difficult and emotional transition of aging parents moving into more skilled care. I’ve also gone through my own downsizing and life transitions, and I have many friends who are facing similar decisions with their parents or are beginning to think about their own next chapter.

These experiences have shown me that real estate decisions at this stage of life are about so much more than selling a house. They involve family conversations, financial considerations, memories, and planning for comfort, safety, and the future.

Earning the SRES® designation adds specialized training and resources to the real-life perspective I already bring to my work. My goal is to combine that knowledge and personal understanding to better support clients and families who are navigating these same transitions.
