emerged as a natural outgrowth of a successful commercial development and real estate business spanning over 50 years. Our greatest retained asset is the vast contact base that reaches throughout the fifty United States and seven Continents. During those fifty years our goals were successfully implemented in several businesses, including a development and constru
ction company in the late 60's and early 70's. In the late 70's the acquisition of a Burger King franchise in New Haven Connecticut contemporaneously with the construction and remodeling of Burger King restaurants from Texas to the Carolinas and the entire East Coast to Canada. This multi - million dollar task included real estate acquisition and turn key projects for numerous locations. The early 80's the construction was expanded into the harvesting of natural resources with the acquiring of a 55 acre glacier deposit quarry. This excavation project was financially rewarding as well as a learning experience for future quarry development. In the late 80's and early 90's we concentrated on real estate development including elderly housing, industrial building renovation and property management both for client owned and company owned properties. The late 90's and for the next better part of 10 years our expansion concentrated its efforts on Griffon Hovercraft USA. Griffon Hovercraft USA became the exclusive agent for Griffon Hovercraft Limited of South Hampton, Great Britain. Through their sole efforts the first entry into the US market for the development and manufacturing of a hovercraft meeting the requirements of the "Jones Act", was accomplished by the efforts of its managing director George J Scarveles. Griffon Hovercraft USA, LLC continues to provide technical support data for companies and government agencies who have hovercraft in their inventory. In the early two-thousands to the present the establishment of CONNECTICUT BUILDING SOLUTIONS, LLC took its major leap into the industrial and manufacturing sector of the economy. This movement has resulted in the acquisition and participation in several business ventures including the mining of natural resources such as sand and stone. IN SUMMARY, Connecticut Business Solutions, LLC continues with the mission statement as set forth in it's preamble of providing solutions for unique and difficult business, financial and construction situations.
