The Bitterroot Valley Board of REALTORSĀ® is pleased to recognize Ryan Klemundt as a nominee for the 2026 REALTORĀ® of the Year Award.
As a REALTORĀ®ļø since 2013, Ryan has become an active and outspoken participant in issues affecting private property rights, water policy, land use, planning, and responsible development. His willingness to engage in complex discussions and advocate strongly for the positions he believes in has made him an increasingly involved voice within the REALTORĀ® community.
Ryan's accomplishments include receiving the Newcomer/Rising Star Award in January 2026 and becoming a member of the RPAC 99er Club. He has also taken on an impressive number of leadership and service roles, including involvement with the Montana Association of REALTORSĀ® Government Affairs Committee, Legal Action Fund, and Water Subcommittee, as well as the Bitterroot Valley Board of REALTORSĀ® Government Affairs activities.
Beyond the REALTORĀ® organization, Ryan has devoted considerable time to public service through his work with the Ravalli County Planning Board, the Subdivision Regulations Committee, and the Montana Building Industry Association. His efforts have focused on issues including subdivision regulations, groundwater monitoring, water rights, land-use policy, and responsible development.
Ryan has also worked with REALTORSĀ®, builders, developers, engineers, government officials, and community organizations to educate others about water law, property rights, and legislation affecting real estate. He has participated in legislative discussions, candidate forums, and community education efforts and has contributed to conversations surrounding local planning and groundwater monitoring.
Ryan brings passion, energy, and a strong willingness to speak up on behalf of the issues he believes are important. As he continues to grow in his many leadership roles, the ability to pair strong advocacy with thoughtful, respectful communication and an openness to differing perspectives will further strengthen his effectiveness and positive impact within the industry and community.
Ryan Klemundtās level of involvement reflects a genuine commitment to public service and to issues affecting REALTORSĀ®, property owners, and the Bitterroot Valley.
