Another Travis Martinez Scholarship Winner Reaches Sky High!

2025 Travis Martinez Memorial Trades Scholarship winner, John Dicken from Darby MT shares his story:

"I will complete Northwest Lineman College on May 30th. I got my CDL license in February, which is a requirement to graduate from NLC.

Thank you so much for the scholarship money, which helped pay for my tuition. My school work has been challenging. Due to having to complete a lot of course work and field work simultaneously. I really enjoy the hands-on aspect that the school provides. I am excited to start my lineman career this summer."

Congratulations John! We are so proud of you and thrilled with your putting the scholarship to good use. Every good wish to you as you move on in your career!

If you or someone you know is a senior graduating from a Ravalli County High school and is interested in going into the trades, we urge them to fill out the application and get it in by Tuesday May 5th, 2026
We love helping our youth get started on a strong career path.
