Spring like weather is on the horizon! As long as weather stays in the 40's we officially are filling up slots for Spring clean ups. Let us get rid of all those leaves, and sticks and debris outta them lawns and flower beds for ya! Have us come Feb to the first week of March and get an early bird discount!

Also any time is a good time for mulch or river rock so we're open for for that too pending supply house stock.

We have gotten a few "are you coming out to mow today?" messages. No. probably not tomorrow either. Many parts of Hammond, Highland, Griffith, EC, and Whiting remain inaccessible. Roads are closed, tree's are down all over, City clean up crews need their space and time to get things back to normal. Plus a 878 pound mower on ya lawn is like pushing a brick through a plate of mash potatos, it will destroy your soggy lawn right now. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BfL3NQQWj/

Some parts of EC and Whiting are under three feet of water right now. Parts of Highland and Griffith are Knee deep and the rain isnt supposed to stop until around 5am. If you dont see us in the coming day or two it means the road was flooded out still, or your lawn was so soft and mushy it couldnt be mowed. We'll keep everyone updated via texts as always as things develop. Hope yall stay safe.

We're out mowing but its going to be a slow moving day so if you dont see us today. We'll hopefully be there tomorrow. I got attacked by a feral animal on Saturday. My hand is loaded up with stitches and arms are very stiff from a barrage of vaccinations. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The Rain is a party pooper this week. At least it makes the grass grow. We'll be mowing anyone who hasnt been done yet as soon as weather permits.

solved a grading issue and installed a hidden French Drain to solve water pooling near the corner of this house. Along with some landscaping renovations.

Spring is just around the corner! Next week weather will be in the 50's and things are warming up. If anyone is wondering where we been this week, or part of last week. Lawns are starting to enter cold weather dormancy. So we're mowing on an as needed basis. This protects your lawn, and saves you money. We havnt up and disappeared, we're out running our routes as normal, we're just doing whats best for your lawn and your wallet. Things are supposed to perk back up temp wise later in the week, so after all this rain we just got and lawns arnt slushy swamps we'll be out the rest of the week mowing.

If you got brown spots, moles, and dirt patches oh my. There is a pretty good chance you got grubs. within a few seasons they will absolutely destroy your lawn. The species of beetles that lay these grubs love thatch covered lawns. When your lawncare service says you need your yard detached. most lawn companies are being honest, you do indeed need it. If you got moles, you 100% need it. The beetles that lay these lawn destroying eggs that turn into grass root eating grubs are invasive and love to live in that thatch, Thatch is material that didnt bio degrade from letting your lawn grow to long or from years of bi weekly cuts. This is why we encourage weekly cuts if you can afford it. This clients yard once it got infested went from vibrant green for years to super patchy. While dethatching this lawn big sheets like this came off like a slipping door mat cause the grubs had eaten all the roots. We're not trying to sell you snake oil when we bring up dethatching and aeration. it greatly improves rain, fertilizer, and grub/ bug killer do its job in your lawn, as well as greatly improves the grass roots ability to spread deep and wide, making it harder for weeds and pests to find a home within your soil and reduces the amount of water you need to keep your grass alive during droughts. [the two grubs in my hand are just a reference, that small sheet of dead grass had about 30 of those grubs under it.]

Had some minor trouble with the Van today, we're getting it fixed and will be out to get everyone mowed Thursday and Friday. If we didnt get to you today, we'll be out tomorrow. pending repair parts get delivered in a timely manner. rest assured everyone will get mowed this week. sorry for any inconvenience.
