Well this goes down in the books as one of the best. This guy right here worked his tail off to get himself a HOME. His first home. We journeyed literally years to make his dream location, criteria, numbers, etc all hit the checkboxes. He had time to spare, and I am of the "do it right or don't do it at all" mindset, SO HERE WE ARE.... closing day with the one and only Maria Wickett by our side.... and brains behind the operation.

Side note: Kevin Eichelman is over at Jeff Gordon Chevrolet in Wilmy, and I know better than most that he is going to take care of his people.... if you need a car (or in my personal preference, a large/in charge SUV), holler at him!!!

Week 2 of building our custom NC home!

This was a hottt summer day, and we were definitely headed to the beach after this house update.

Seeing the outline of the house makes it feel smaller than it really is.

As soon as the house went 3d, so did the baby bump!

Little girl Lineberry will make her arrival appx 3 months before the house is finished, but not to worry because she will get to be part of the finish out process.

Posting a photo that brings me joy and peace today.

The week has been tricky and trying.

Sometimes my mind knows exactly what it wants and sometimes it gets scrambled in the many dreams I have.

Today my art made an impression, and two real estate clients told me that they can see that I'm right where I am needed.

This photo was one that I felt pieced itself together so seamlessly. It was a dual effort between myself and last year. Remains a favorite. Today it popped up in my gallery and I felt it deserved a little showcase.

One day Drew came home and said, hey I've got a buddy that wants to build some spec homes.

Around this time last year I made a decision to tailor my business into almost exclusively helping those that want to build a house or buy new construction.

And boy has this journey been rewarding.

I'm quickly becoming recognized as the new construction expert in our area, and I LOVE helping buyers explore land opportunities and imagine what house will be a good fit.

Partnering with on this spec home in Hampstead, NC. (Just mainland of Topsail Island) has given me the room to explore my creativity, timeliness, marketing skills, and more!

Good gravy, I hope Gary doesn't come after me for slightly modifying his quote. But I wanted it to hit my buddies in real estate like it hit me!
