Sometimes the problem is not obvious but the clues show you the real issue. This pipe had a small leak from a split in the bottom at the joint. Always get the home inspection and make sure your inspector is thorough to help prevent future headaches.

Always like seeing the technology of the past when inspecting old homes. This servant/butler call box, in a late 1800’s home, was still partially working.

An inspection is always important even when items have been recently “repaired”. This drain pipe has been repaired but the repair has water trying to go uphill so it will not drain properly.

Good examples of why you should have carbon monoxide detectors when gas is used in the home. Two different houses in one week with leaking flues. Remember to always get the home inspection!
