Happy Heavenly 90th Birthday to my Father, Thurston Blair Lewis 🕊️

I’m eternally grateful to Allah for blessing me to be the middle child to this Giant of a Man — my personal Super Black Hero forever.

He returned to Allah in 2008… gone too soon, but his presence, love, and lessons are still with me every day.

Anyone who crossed his path felt his genuine warmth and kindness. He even shared this day, 4.29, with his Mother, my Grandmother Eleveyn — a true legacy of love.

I remember cold Michigan mornings watching him shovel snow for my Mom, then driving 1–1.5 hours each way to Pontiac to work at General Motors in Dayton Plains… for over 30 years. Pure sacrifice so his family could have a better life.

I still watch Columbo because of him… and I still hear his voice:
“Go hard, lil man…”

That encouragement lives in me daily.
