Hello friends…

Waiting for the “perfect” real estate market can cost you more than making a smart move in an imperfect one.

There will always be a reason to wait — interest rates, home prices, inventory, the economy, or just hesitation.

But real estate decisions are rarely about whether the market is perfect.

They’re about whether the move makes sense for YOU.

If you’re selling, your equity may still put you in a strong position.

If you’re buying, less competition may give you more negotiating power than you had a few years ago.

The better question isn’t:

“Is this the perfect time?”

It’s:

“Does this move make sense for my goals, my finances, and my life right now?”

Good decisions come from good information — not headlines.

Hello friends... Day 5 of Around Hanahan takes us to Bessinger-Kelly Park. 🌳🛝

A shaded playground, picnic tables, and plenty of room to hang out make this a great little spot for families to enjoy some time outside.

It’s tucked into Hanahan Proper and definitely worth knowing about.

📈📉The Fed got the headlines, but mortgage rates are about a lot more than one Fed decision. Right now I’m keeping a close eye on inflation, oil prices and the bond market — especially the 10-year Treasury.

And there is some reason for optimism: if energy prices settle down and inflation continues moving in the right direction, mortgage rates can improve without waiting for the Fed to cut rates.

There will probably be some bumps along the way, but as this week showed us, the market can move quickly in either direction.

Spell Park and the Murray Drive recreation area have a little bit of everything — and it’s one of those places that really shows how much Hanahan has to offer in a pretty small footprint.

Definitely worth a closer look.
