Thank you God, for the greatest opportunity to coach and mentor this 10u boys youth recreational soccer team who competed in their 1st ever tournament against elite club boys teams. Our team showed resilience, endurance, passion, and grit in each and every game played. Our 9 player team, later 8 player team played lights out and like champions each and every game. After our 1st tournament loss, our team adjusted to the different level of play and competed against the remaining teams. Our non-club players,( some who tried out for club this last month and got rejected) competed at the highest level because of their commitment and love for the game. When no one believed in them and rejected them, I stood by their side and encouraged them to compete so they learn from this experience and realize what they need to work and improve on. Thank you for allowing us to compete in your tournament. This is truly an opportunity that I and my boys will never forget!

I wanted to let you know that I am extremely proud of you for competing in the 26-27 Visalia soccer club tryouts. Your skill set and confidence as a 9-year-old boy have vastly improved. Although you had some disappointments with certain clubs, I am proud of you for trying and giving it your all. I am excited for you and your bright future as a young soccer player. I am glad that 2 coaches saw something in you that others failed to see, which is commitment, speed, agility, and stamina. Your game will evolve as time goes by with the right coaching and commitment to excellence. Visalia United FC will be your foundation to excellence.
