When was the last time you inspected your attic? During today's inspection, I discovered a pair of bathroom exhaust vents ending inside the attic space instead of extending through the roof. This problem is already starting to promote microbial growth. It would be more cost-effective to fix this now rather than wait until it damages the sheathing and rafters.

A leak in the basement is merely a symptom, not the root cause, which often stems from external issues such as negative grading, downspouts lacking extensions, or the absence of a gutter system altogether, compounded by the lack of a drain tile installation. Recognizing this, it is essential to address the underlying issues on the exterior of the property, rather than merely sealing cracks, which is akin to applying a Band-Aid.

Inspections are worth it !!! This residence is valued at over $500,000, boasting impeccable interior and exterior features. While there were minimal issues identified, a closer examination of the attic revealed potential microbial growth on the sheathing, accompanied by an unsightly fungus, likely resulting from inadequate ventilation and a possible leaking nail feeding this fungus…. When was the last time you conducted a thorough inspection of your attic ?
