For the past few years, my wife has been supporting me while I pursued my dream of real estate. And now, in 2023, she has been presented with an opportunity to travel the country as a travel physical therapist and I'm excited to have a turn supporting her. This week we moved to Indiana and will be here until the end of April. For my current and future clients, not only will I be back and forth to Massachusetts, but I have amazing co-workers who are more than willing to assist my clients in showings while I am away. I am still available for anything that doesn’t require my physical presence.

What will I do while in Indiana? Well, I have began my journey as a travel therapy recruiter with . Who better to assist my wife with her travel assignments than her companion in life (aka the other person making the decisions 💁🏽‍♀️)? I’m Back! The past few months I have taken a break from real estate to focus on renovating our new duplex, but also to focus on personal and family stuff. It feels amazing to get back into real estate with a friend from undergrad (UMass Lowell). Kevin, back in 2011 or 2012, moved into a room just down the hall from me in our dorm and we eventually bumped into each other and became friends. Who know we would go from dorm-mates to working together to help him and his girlfriend find their first home. It was such a pleasure reconnecting with Kevin and getting to know his girlfriend. I think at times, Realtors are seen as their profession before they are seen as potential friends so jumping back into real estate with someone who I already knew was a breath of fresh air. Not only did we find them a new home, but we also got it for $20K below asking price!

Congrats to my client! She had been looking for a home since the fall and finally found this beautiful 3 bed, 2.5 bath condo in Woburn. Everything that came to fruition was set in motion before our home renovations started. So happy I was able to focus on my deals and support my clients through the chaos of renovating our new home. (Still have one more unit to renovate 😅 ). What I love most about Real Estate is that 90% of it comes down to how much you want it and how hard you’re willing to work. This could mean many different things; working to come out of your shell more in order to better connect with your clients, fishing for leads, promoting/marketing yourself, showing up for networking events, etc. I like that with Real Estate, I am the only person I can blame for my short comings AND I can attribute most of my success (not all-mentors, clients, lenders, attorneys, and other real estate professionals play a vital role) to my hardwork.
