MFC has over 60 years of experience in the fiberglass and composites industry. We are dedicated to providing our customers with quality products that meet or exceed their expectations. The Miles Fiberglass & Composites industry story began at the 1957 Portland Boat Show where, at the time, 19-year-old, Lowell Miles became captivated with a 14 foot fiberglass fishing boat (a glossy standout amongst the wooden boats on display). Lowell convinced his father to tear down a barn behind the family’s cabinet shop and replace it with a fiberglass workshop. From that lone event, Lowell embarked on a lifelong career that has included expansions, relocations, restarts, innovation, industry leadership, building a family business and, above all, the satisfaction earned from hard work and acknowledged success.
