A home can look absolutely perfect during a showing while an inspector catches things you’d never notice yourself.

An inspection gives you valuable information about the home’s condition before you move forward. And depending on the terms of your contract, those findings may give you an opportunity to discuss repairs or other solutions.

A few hundred dollars now could uncover issues that cost thousands later.

Buy a house now… and your first mortgage payment COULD be in December. 👀

Wait, WHAT?!

Mortgage payments are generally paid in arrears, meaning you’re paying for the previous month. So depending on when you close, the interest paid at closing, and your specific loan terms, your first full mortgage payment may not be due until later.

Which means a little breathing room to move, unpack, and recover from all those “new house Target runs” that somehow cost $300 every time. 😂

🇨🇱 Texas has its own pledge of allegiance and yes, students may recite it at school right after the U.S. pledge.

🚗 Texas is HUGE. “It’s only a few hours away” can mean a 4, 5, or even 6-hour drive… and you’re STILL in Texas. 😂

🏈 High school football is an EVENT. Friday nights hit different here.

🌮 Breakfast tacos are acceptable at basically any hour. No explanation needed.

🛒 H-E-B will quickly become part of your personality. 😂

🌡️ And “a little cooler today” might mean 92° instead of 102°. 🥵
