Why should you get a home inspection before selling your house?
Having a home inspection completed before selling your house is one of the best investments you can make. Potential buyers will feel more confident when submitting their offer. It reduces the chances of the buyer asking you to repair something after their offer is accepted.
When I was approached to sell this property for my gentle and sweet family-oriented client hoping to move even closer to her daughter and four grandchildren a kind woman whom I have come to know, she asked if I would “sell her little over an acre and a half piece of Rio Grande Valley land” , in her native tonge. Then, she tore a piece of paper and scribbled down the address in English. Later that day I drove further south to, 25 El Campo Rd, where I got drone video and photography of the size, location and overall appearance of the lot.
What I found was a green lot lined with nice size teenaged and older trees as well as green native plantation. As into a south tx real-estate transaction we all go (as per my client’s request her daughter and son-in-law are included in all communication we have regarding the listing of my client's property) It is obvious that while I need to sharpen my Spanish speaking skills, my ability to understand Spanish is certainly enough and makes for a fun realtor/client relationship full of laughs and is an overall enjoyable experience for everyone involved. A licensed inspector concluded that the structure on the lot does not "pass" inspection and the lot with structure is sold “as is”. The lot itself is a lovely place for a family looking for land, trees and adventures to build their custom dream home.
Offered at the simple, average rate of $80,000, the seller is open to all types of offers with or without financial assistance, investors, families etc.
