🚨 Pennsylvania’s skill-game deadline is approaching.

ABC27 reports that businesses could face enforcement beginning October 14 if lawmakers fail to establish a legal framework.

* The Supreme Court issued its decision on June 15
* Lawmakers have until October 13
* Enforcement could begin October 14
* Simply unplugging a machine may not be enough
* Businesses are being advised to discuss removal with their vendors

Should Pennsylvania regulate and tax these machines—or remove them?

🚀 Central Pennsylvania could become one of the East Coast’s next major technology hubs.

Two announced data-center developments represent up to $21 billion in planned regional investment:

• $15 billion PAX development near Carlisle
• Up to $6 billion planned by CoreWeave in Lancaster
• Approximately 600 projected CoreWeave construction jobs
• New permanent technology and operational positions
• More than $65 million in projected direct tax revenue from PAX

These remain planned investments, but they could bring new careers, infrastructure and economic opportunities to Central Pennsylvania.

Could technology become the next major industry driving our region’s growth?

⚡ Central PA’s next development boom could be measured in electricity—not buildings.

The Pennsylvania PUC’s latest forecast says:

* PPL industrial electricity use could grow 51.05% annually through 2030
* The projected increase is tied almost entirely to anticipated data centers
* PPL serves approximately 1.5 million customers across 29 counties
* These are forecasts—not guarantees that every proposed project will be built

If this growth materializes, can Central PA expand its power infrastructure without shifting unreasonable costs onto existing families and businesses?

🌱 A Carlisle college just topped its national sustainability category for the fifth year in a row.

Dickinson College was recognized as the leading baccalaureate institution evaluated under STARS Version 2.2 in the 2026 Sustainable Campus Index.

* Five consecutive years leading its category
* Nine consecutive years as a top performer
* Current STARS Gold rating
* Sustainability evaluated across academics, operations, engagement and administration

Important context: This is a category-and-version-specific result—not one combined ranking of every college in America.

Would sustainability influence which college you or your family chooses?
