Had an old fashioned live in person farm machinery auction for James Sears on August 1. This was the first auction (other than charity) since my stroke last August. This auction was a challenge because we actually had to sell in 3 different locations. Two inside the city limits of Columbia and then several miles south on another farm. Thanks to the auction goers and their patience we make it work. Also special thanks to Dwaine Witte, Christy Fritz Witte, Price Nichols, and my bride, Rhonda Wilhite Voorheis, working on her 39th wedding anniversary! Prices included 2013 Dodge Caravan mobility van, $18,500; John Deere 4430 tractor $17,750; John Deere 4020 (single hydraulics) tractor $5,300; John Deere 4620 tractor $14,500; John Deere 750 - 15' no till drill $10,500.
