anning, design, and construction. Our firm was established in 1935 as William Lynch Murray and Associates in Harrisburg, PA. His son, Martin Murray, took over the firm in 1974 as Murray Associates Architects and in 1983, the firm was incorporated. Michael Frye and Benedict H Dubbs took over the firm as Principals in 2000. Murray Associates is a certified Small Business Concern under the PA Commonwealth’s Small Business Procurement Initiative. As a small business, we offer agility to act quickly for our clients and design a wide variety of building types that are new, renovated, or adaptive-reuse in the mid-Atlantic Region.

I interned at Murray from June to August 2024 and became full-time in May 2025. This is my first year in the industry – looking forward to many more.

I recently graduated college. I have a cat named Goose. I enjoy hiking, traveling, tennis, photography, and learning.

My favorite project so far has been Army War College Alumni Hall and Park project because of its creativity and focus on the human experience.

Meet SYDNEY Barefoot, one of our Interior Designers here at Murray's.

I recently joined Murray Associates Architects and have been with the firm for three months. While I am still growing in the architectural field, I bring a stronger background in residential design and am eager to continue learning about different aspects of building and design. I earned my Associate’s Degree in Business from HACC and currently also work with Barefoot Custom Homes, where I handle accounting, client meetings, design selections, and estimating. Outside of work, I love spending time with my dog, going on walks, horseback riding in both western and English styles, and line dancing. I also have a passion for traveling and exploring beautiful places
