Just because your 110 pound Fido is sweet and cuddly to you and your family doesn’t mean he’ll be sweet and cuddly to a stranger coming through the door or into your backyard when you are not home. I have had to reschedule. Also, if your indoor pet likes to dart out the door and run off, you might want to confine them some way just for a few hours. Had a deaf dog dart out of a fenced backyard once. Couldn’t call that dog and he didn’t know sign language. Stay tuned.

Friendly Reminder: Disconnect those garden hoses. Even if it is a freeze proof faucet, water left in the hose that fills the faucet will freeze and burst the faucet.

If you have foundation vents that close, now is the time to close or cover them. Open them up next spring.
