Calling all volunteers 🙋‍♀️ !

What: Volunteer Training February 27th !!

Why: we need volunteers for spring gardening, baby sitting, and so many other things !

Who: anyone that wants to make a difference in the lives of others.

Pay: you will get enormous gratification by helping others, and you will undoubtedly help yourself by helping others. You will make some new friends and hopefully find your own little niche in our small world.

Drought monitor from April 16th shows much of Boone County is lacking in spring rainfall. Something to keep in mind as we plan for spring and summer forage production.

Construction is completed at Hope Cottages!

After 5 years, Norman Massengale, with Metro Construction has been completed. We have some deferred maintenance still to be do, but for the most part, we are done! Norman has worked slow and steady throughout the years to help make this project a reality. He has also been available for all our minor leaks and breaks, and without his valuable guidance and skills we could of never completed the Cottages!

So today, we are thankful for our community support, and Metro Construction for all that they have offered up. And most importantly, the continued guidance and blessings from above🙏that we fall back on as we travel this journey.

Happy Tuesday ! Not many days left to secure your tickets for our next fundraiser! Make sure yoy come by the Harrison Square on Saturday and check out all the fun. Before all the festivities you can shop local and browse through all the vendors on the Square. Saturday will be a smorgasbord of fun and activities. Bring your friends and family to enjoy a fun day!

And finally, the Hope Cottages board of directors will be available to answer questions and meet new folks. Can't wait ❤️

WHAT TO EXPECT AT MAMA JAWANNA

Food Court, Vendors and MUSIC!
An outstanding musical extravaganza of Rock, Folk, Blues, Country, Pop, Opera and Jazz spanning seven hours, across two stages with over 25 musicians.

The event kicks off outdoors at noon with artisans, craft and food vendors, farmers market and the Car Builders Club car show on the Courthouse Square. We kick off the music with the free Music On the Square concert from 3-6pm in front of the Lyric Theater. Bring your chairs, dancing shoes and sunscreen! From 7-11pm the music moves inside for an exclusive ticketed event at the historic Lyric Theater. Plush seating, excellent views and an all new sound system will have you rocking out in comfort and style

Advance tickets start at $10 and can be purchased online through the Lyric Theater website http://thelyric.org . Tickets purchased at the box office on June 10 will be charged an extra $5 theater fee. Wristbands will be given at the door so patrons can come and go throughout the evening.

Patrons will also be able to enjoy the Rush Street Food Court outside of the Lyric Theater as they listen to music on both stages.

Proceeds from this event will go to Hope Cottages and Sanctuary Inc. of Harrison, AR
