Waking up at 5am was a normal routine for an aspiring 10-year old entrepreneur. Hi I’m Steven, Commercial REALTOR® & real estate investor in Harrisonburg, VA and I've worked first hand in business since a young child. I grew up working and helping to manage my family’s two commercial poultry farms in the Shenandoah Valley where we grew for Tyson Chicken on average 11,000 chickens and produced 2.4
million eggs per year. I now come to the real estate industry with over 25+ years combined relevant business experience. Shortly after taking business and biology classes at Luray High School and Bridgewater College, I graduated Bridgewater College with a bachelor of science degree. My passion for business led me to start my own Driver's Education program in 2011. Mindshiftmotorcycle.com (Formerly Riders in Motion), has grown to be Virginia's premiere center for motorcycle license classes. For over 12 years, the training school has served thousands of clients all across Virginia from Northern VA to the Chesapeake Bay. The business operates today with a fully equipped team: a program manager, office manager, operations coordinator, and 15 nationally-certified motorcycle instructors. After growing the company and maintaining continued profitability for over a decade, we were acquired by new owners in 2024. Farming and owning my own business instilled in me a relentless perseverance and the significance of hard work. Owning my own business has taught me many lessons but perhaps the most important is the value of community and building lasting relationships, which is something I wish to continue. In both business and personal life, I enjoy learning, leading by example, serving others, fostering relationships and doing it all with integrity. Eisenhower said, “The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity.”
As a commercial realtor, I am passionate about helping others reach their goals in real estate investing. As an active real estate investor myself; I have bought, sold, leased and managed my own residential properties. With over two decades of relevant business experience, I do not consider myself a salesman but rather an educator and resource to others. I value relationship over sales, servant leadership and treating others the way I want to be treated.
