Hello Everyone.
I hope this reaches you well.
I am open for business 😁. As many of you have heard I was down and out for a bit with a medical issue. I am now in full swing doing home inspections, energy audits, and duct/blower door testing, and radon testing.
I was diagnosed with cardiac sarcoidosis, which is kind of like having arthritis of the heart- it’s a thing I’ll deal with the rest of my life, unfortunately. A pacemaker was installed and I am currently participating in an international study to determine the best treatment strategy. I have started running and biking again as a means to treat the illness but also in an attempt be normal.
I know the real estate world is a bit on tilt and home inspections and real estate transactions have not been typical.
I have been doing inspections for a couple of weeks now and just wanted everyone to know I’m good/back/ready when needed.

Hi.
I don’t post much- cuz- life and busy biz.
I could post more but don’t know if anyone would really care.
If there are issues or questions I could help clarify- I am willing to be a resource.
What questions may you have regarding home maintenance or energy efficiency issues do you have….

Recessed lights allow tremendous air flow between the interior and exterior of your house- here is some helpful data about this topic.

Using foam insulation is a common way to stop airflow through recessed can lights, which are notorious energy wasters. Unfortunately, the temperatures inside a foam enclosure can get hot enough to melt the foam or the wiring inside the enclosure, creating a fire risk.

Veteran electrician and building-science expert Larry Armanda points out the potential dangers and shows how to seal up can lights safely and effectively. Read the article: http://bit.ly/2KT0aYg
