🏠 When was the last time you looked inside your crawlspace?
For a lot of homeowners, the answer is “I’m not sure.” It’s one of those areas that’s easy to forget about—but catching a small issue underneath your home early can potentially prevent a much bigger repair later.
A good habit is to visually check your crawlspace at least twice a year, especially in the spring and fall, and take another look after periods of unusually heavy rain.

* Standing water, damp soil or excessive moisture
* Musty or unusual odors
* Mold or mildew on wood or insulation
* Sagging, wet or fallen insulation
* Plumbing leaks or dripping pipes
* Wood that appears soft, damaged or discolored
* Signs of termites, rodents or other pests
* Torn or displaced v***r barriers
* Foundation cracks or other noticeable changes
* Ductwork that has become loose, damaged or disconnected
