I haven’t posted in so long, y’all are long overdue for a life update 😂😜 But for now, I wanted to share picture of my apartment bedroom. The walls were already painted a deep blue. Blue is my favorite color so I loved it, but it made my room little too dark 🥲 I found a light comforter to help light up the room. I also used a huge rug to cover up the tile floors and add a little warmth 😃

Hey guys! I’ve wanted to share this space with y’all for a while and I finally have a chance 😃 Since the living room, kitchen, and eating area are in the same room, it was a challenge to define each space without making it feel too crowded. I found this table on Facebook Marketplace and I instantly feel in love with it, even though it’s not my typical style 😂The glass top gives the table an illusion of not being as large as it is which makes the entire room feel bigger 🍽

Happy Monday! What are your plans for the week? I’m excitedly getting stuff ready to move into my first apartment 😇 I was not planning on moving out right after graduation, but it’s crazy how quickly life changes 🎉 I will be sharing some small space/renter friendly decorating ideas this week 👏🎊 If y’all have any tips for me, please let me know!! It’s so easy to overlook the small things when decorating a room, but they can really make or break a space. I love to use greenery! It adds so much color and cheer. In this bathroom, I chose this amber soap dispensers which keeps with the industrial style of the house, but it also adds some much needed color 🪴🪴🪴

Story Time-

This verse in Colossians hits me HARD. I’m about to graduate from the University of Alabama and I am so struggling to do this. I don’t know if you have ever experienced Senioritis, but let me tell you, it’s REAL. This is my hardest semester of classes and I’ve never been less motivated to study in my life. This is where the conviction of this verse starts, no matter what we are tasked with God commands us to work with all of our heart, not for man, but for Him. Right now, I want to be at home working on projects and various businesses, but that’s not where God has put me. I am praying for focus to finish strong. I hope you all have a great week! 😊❤️

I was going to wait to share pictures of the bathroom, but Gracie Beth took pictures yesterday and I’m just too excited not to post some of them! The second picture is what the bathroom looked like before 🤢 We changed the layout so it feels larger and then decided to add the built-in shelves which are perfect for towels! I love this bathroom so much!

Last year this room looked like the picture to the right, but today it received the final touches and it’s completely DONE. I created a few reels that I’ll be sharing next week that shows how we made the floating shelf, hanging lamps, and the wall decor (which only cost $10)!

I love front porches! A tip I learned from my mom was to carry the theme and color schemes from the inside to the outside of the house as well so the design flows. This house has an industrial theme so the natural wood posts and the black iron bench suit the style well!

This week, I have had 5 tests, 3 case studies, plus homework, but y’all want to know what I’m excited about?? Next week, I’m going home and I get to decorate this laundry room! What are your favorite laundry room design tips? I really love this folding station and I need some cute practical ways to make it super functional. We decided to add because we had a left over cabinet from the kitchen. I found the wine cooler at our local thrift store for $100. I’m so happy with the way it turned out!!
