The Hound Dog Country family took a road trip looking for an equipment trailer. We decided to stop and visit a musician friend, Donnie Faulk, who just happens to have a couple of horses made from horse shoes. Donnie holds the Guinness Book of Records for the largest horse shoe sculpture of a life size horse built out of 1,071 horseshoes. It is always a great time visiting in the hills of Tennessee with Donnie and friends.

The Hound Dog Country family visited with country music royalty in Nashville this weekend. Debra Jean Wagoner (Porter Wagoner's daughter) was great at telling the Porter Wagoner stories while listening to Doc Martin's band (actually is a doctor and recording artist/entertainer) on Saturday. Sunday was the ROPE (Reunion of Professional Entertainers) meeting with Debra Jean Wagoner, Jerry Foster, Leona and Ron Williams, Joe Diffie's daughter, Bobby G Rice and too many to name. It was great seeing old friends and making new friends.

It was nice to getaway for a few days. The Hound Dog Country family visited with Cajun Royalty in Pierre Part Louisiana at Duffy's. The one and only Troy Landry of the TV show Swamp People. Season 18 is scheduled to start recording when alligator hunting season opens.. Troy's hunting partner this season??? Nobody knows yet.
