My dad lived a life I didn't understand fully when I was young. Born with a significant handicap, he never let that stop him. Not as a kid when he walked for miles with a brace on his leg to deliver newspapers, or as an adult when he was well respected in the engineering job he held for 40+ years. I was never that disciplined. He set an example for me of how important it is to be reliable and true to your word and somehow it all sank in. I love and miss him every day.

Here's to all the fathers and everyone filling the role of caring for a child while helping them develop into good people.

Now in the care of new owners, spring sunshine found the entire yard blooming with fields of lily of the valley, daffodils, and wild violets. A wonderful home on an exceptionally nice lot, it's now time for it to hold new memories.
