It's been way too long since I've written a real estate piece.

This one came out of something Mike and I see all the time. A family house carries a lot more than square footage, and figuring out what to do with it is rarely as simple as deciding to sell.

There's always a story behind a house.

My buyers fell in love with this home two and a half years ago and then watched someone else buy it.

Every home we looked at after that was compared to this one, and none of them quite measured up.

So when it unexpectedly came back on the market, we dropped everything.

After navigating a multiple-offer situation, I got to make one of my favorite calls in real estate last night:

"You got YOUR house."

Moments like that never get old. ❤️

My brain currently feels like 47 browser tabs open at once 😅

Website redesign.
Google reviews.
Old real estate profiles.
Fonts.
Colors.
SEO.
Listings.
Learning platforms I probably should've figured out two years ago.
Passwords from 2011 I'm trying to remember.

And somehow it's all connected.

I realized today I've spent so many years actually doing the work that I never stopped to build the online version of the business properly.

So now I'm rebuilding while learning, updating, organizing, troubleshooting, and trying not to accidentally make my website look radioactive yellow 😂

But somewhere in the middle of it, I looked at my transaction history and realized:
71 families, buyers, sellers, moves, transitions, and life chapters sitting behind those years.

71 people who trusted us with something big. (More like 150 or more including family members!)

That's what matters. Not the branding. Not the algorithms. Not looking like I have it together.

So if I seem a little all over the place lately, I probably am 😅
But I'm building.
