❗️Working on replacing some rotted deck posts the right way❗️
🚫 Not every customer needs a brand new deck or a huge upsell — sometimes the safest and most cost-effective option is properly repairing the existing structure.
For these repairs, we’re upgrading any 4x4 posts over 8 feet tall to stronger 4x6 posts for added support and stability. Each new post is installed by:
• Digging 42” deep 🚧
• Adding 4–6” of crushed stone for drainage 🪨
• Installing a concrete sono-tube footing 🚧
• Filling the tubes with concrete for a solid foundation 🪨
• Using exterior-coated post brackets to keep wood off the concrete and maximize lifespan🏡
Taking the extra steps now helps prevent premature rot and gives these posts the longest life expectancy possible.
