HOW'S THE MARKET? I get this question almost every day and I always answer the same way - that depends. If you’re selling, it’s a great time to sell quickly and for possibly the highest prices in history. If you’re buying, the interest rates are still at historic lows which greatly increase a buyer’s buying power even with the higher prices. Let's look at the Sayville market. Right now, there are only 43 homes available in Sayville with an average listing price of $637,293. Over the last six months, 63 homes sold with an average sales price of $483,746 and 28 are under contract with an average listing price of $497,039. These numbers indicate that there is only a 4 month supply of houses. It’s a seller’s market! If you found this information helpful and you would like more information or have any real estate related questions, please contact me. Questions are always free! Have a great day!
