A huge thank you to Connor's Kindness Project and Haffner’s for their generous donation of 18 kindness kits for children staying at Emmaus!

What began as a community project during the pandemic has grown into an incredible effort that has delivered more than 16,000 kits to hospitals, shelters and social service organizations across the region.

These thoughtful kits help bring comfort, creativity and a little extra joy to children during challenging times. We are so grateful for this support and for organizations that are dedicated to spreading kindness throughout our communities.

A heartfelt thank you to the volunteers from the First Congregational Church of Reading UCC for preparing and serving a homemade meal for our guests at Mitch’s Place this week! ❤️

The group brought chicken spaghetti, salad, homemade cookies and brownies, and spent the evening serving our community with kindness and care.

This was their first time donating a meal since before COVID and their first time serving on-site. We are so grateful for their support and look forward to welcoming them back again soon!

Emmaus staff laced up their sneakers and came together for our annual Walk for Hunger in support of The Greater Boston Food Bank 👟❤️

We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon walking the Winnekenni Basin Loop, spending time together outside the office while supporting a cause that helps provide food to individuals and families facing hunger across our region.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Emmaus table at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center's Community Resource Day last Friday at Campagnone Common Park! 🤝🏘️

It was a great opportunity to connect with community members, share information about our programs and services and learn more about the many resources available throughout the Greater Lawrence area.

Thank you to Greater Lawrence Family Health Center and their community partners for bringing together so many organizations dedicated to supporting our community. We were grateful to be part of it!

A big thank you to Cabot Corporation for their generous donation in recognition of Sustainability Day last week! Their team donated 100 supply bags for Mitch’s Place and our Permanent Supportive Housing program, along with 50 bagged lunches for our Family Shelter — a monthly act of kindness they’ve continued for the past two years 🥪💙
