Last week I had the opportunity to attend the American Warrior Initiative training - in which realtors and lenders were educated on how we can best serve our Military. We were taught how to support / serve our Vets, Active Duty and their families. We also were reminded that basically every single person in the US is Friends with / works with/ is family members of military members- we are all connected!!

It was an amazing day where we also learned about how much PTSD there is / what the su***de rates are AND what we can do to help them- one of their initiatives is to provide emotional support dogs to vets that are in need of them - they’ve given out 453 dogs in 10 years !!!

Louise Thaxton was an amazing presenter full of energy and inspiration, then we had the honor of hearing Karen Vaughn’s account of losing her son in Afghanistan — NOT a dry eye in the house (which was the way it was for a lot of the class ).

Realtor/ Lender friends - look this up & take this class !! It’s worth every minute !!

I took this past weekend off to see my son get married to the love of his life. Anna made an Absolutely gorgeous bride and Zach was quite handsome himself !! We loved the beautiful venue - Spring Grove Ranch in Appomattox Virginia !!

It was such a Great day - fun time dancing and loved seeing our friends and family !!!
