As we celebrate our 100-year anniversary, we wanted to look back at the last century!

United Farm Agency enters this 20th year of service by the time the Allies had emerged from World War II victorious. In an effort to help during the war, United utilized the catalog by adding a "Wartime Special Service" slip that helped service members track down properties without cost or obligation. Today, UC retains its strong connection with military service members and is regularly recognized as a top military friendly franchise. Many UC offices are owned or have teams comprised of veterans.

As we celebrate our 100-year anniversary, we wanted to take a look back at the last century!

In 1934 Roscoe Chamberlain wrote: “The depression has brought to quick realization the fact that Mother Earth takes care of her own, and that the man who produces from the soil sustenance for the good health and happiness of his family is still the most independent man in the world.” Many customers headed these words and opted to purchase farmland at bargain prices in the 1930's. United County surpassed 50 offices during this time and the real estate catalog expanded to national distribution with continued growth on the horizon.

I believe that history allows us to learn from past mistakes and successes, avoiding repeating errors and building upon positive outcomes. So check out a small portion of our United Country Real Estate history!!

As we celebrate our 100 year anniversary, we wanted to take a look back at the last century! It was 1925 when Roscoe L. Chamberlain founded United Country; a time when the automobile was still a new concept and the idea of putting a man in space still reserved for science fiction books.

Chamberlain started United Country after recognizing the difficulties seller faced marketing properties in small towns and areas outside of large cities to buyers beyond the local market. He also wanted to make it more convenient for those interested in purchasing a country home, vacation property, investment land and other rural real estate to find property in areas many had not yet visited or even heard of before.
