This new home on Round Lake is now completed. Its a nice change from the typical rustic type lake home to a more contemporay style.

Here is how we fixed a significant squeak in the subfloor of this home we are remodeling the kitchen and bathroom. It is cheaper and faster when your home is built to just nail the subflooring down with a nail gun instead using adhesive and screws but are those squeaks something you want to live with? We have been using screws and adhesive for more than 25 years and here is why.

Several months from now the owners of this home on Round lake will be able to enjoy this view every evening. They will have a 3 mile view across one of Haywards clearest lakes out of the patio door of their dining room. This Lake home has some very nice features I'll be showing along the build process.

The owners of this small 1 bedroom cabin needed more space for their family and friends. They had the design completed when they contacted us so we went to work. A first for us was this exercise pool in the basement. We started with building a pit area in the basement floor to set the pool in to make entry into the pool easier and for service. The empty weight of the pool is 2300 pounds so we worked with a local company with a set of beams and lifting equipment to get it into place safely and without a scratch or scuff.
